You know how the first hug of the weekend hits different? That's Thursday morning on the first tee. Four hours in a cart with your people, before the campground even fills up. You don't have to be good. You just have to pull up.
85 players. 21 foursomes. That's the whole field — the course only has so many carts.Skip the checkout. We'll walk your whole foursome through it on a quick call.
Not a golfer? Ride along and spectate for $65 — lunch and dinner included.

Most of last year's field had never played a tournament in their life. They finished the round, ate good, and took the picture. That's the whole bar.

"I don't really golf."
Good. Most of the field doesn't either. It's a scramble — your team plays the best ball, so your bad shot disappears and somebody else carries the hole. Beginners have a better day here than serious golfers do.
"I don't have a foursome."
Register solo and we'll place you on a team. Every year somebody shows up alone Thursday morning and leaves with four new numbers in their phone. That's kind of the whole point.
"Is this instead of Campout?"
It's the day before. Thursday you golf, then the campground opens and the weekend takes over. Separate registration, same weekend, same people. You can also golf and go home — plenty do.
Every foursome has the same four people. Figure out who yours are, then send them this page. One registration, four seats, $520.

The one who swears they almost went pro
The knees. The back. The wind. Mercury retrograde. Time to find out.
The one who can actually play
Every team needs a ringer. In a scramble, their good drive counts for all four of you.
The one who came for the pictures
Cart driver. Group photographer. Keeper of the receipts.
The one losing every ball y'all brought
Bring extras. Bring grace. Bring them anyway.
All women, all men, or every combination in between — we've had all three, and every one of them talked trash the whole way around.
Tag your foursome. Settle it Thursday.
Register Your Foursome — $520Only need one seat? Register solo for $135 and we'll put you with a team.
Then you're the captain. Send this to your three and let them argue about who's seat one.
Fill your cart, then one person checks out for all four.
⚡ Lock your spot in
Register before it closesEvery dollar past cost goes to Melanated Cares Foundation programs.
All four seats, one checkout. Grab your crew and lock the cart in before the field fills.
Register the teamOne seat. Come solo and we'll place you on a team, or fill in the last spot for your crew.
Register soloRide the cart, hold the camera, eat the food, skip the swing. Lunch and dinner included.
Come spectateYour name, team, or business on a pin flag all day. The cheapest way to be seen by the whole field.

Book a quick call and we'll register your whole team with you.
No stock photos. No models. Just Camp Cousins on a golf course in South Georgia, having the kind of day you tell people about.

Doors at 10, clubs down by mid-afternoon, plates full by dinner. Bring your own clubs — everything else is handled.
Times are close to final. Every registered player gets the confirmed run-of-day by email the week before.

The Cousins' Cup is the fundraiser for Melanated Cares Foundation — the arm of this community that keeps working the other 362 days of the year. Your registration puts kids outside, sends veterans on retreat, and helps somebody's tuition get paid.
Nobody's paying $135 for a round of golf. You're paying to spend a Thursday with your people and put a kid outside for the first time. The golf is just how we get in the door.

Golf Thursday, then stay for three days of the reunion — Sept 25–27, same lake, same cousins, 21+.

The Cousins' Cup
18 holes, lunch, dinner, awards, and the first hugs of the weekend.

Camp opens · Dinner in Orange
Tents up, Dinner in Orange, live band, and the Homecoming party.

Watergun Battle & all of it
Comedy show, line dance, lip sync battle, campfire talks, full bar.
Come a day early. Stay the whole weekend.

Sponsorship is how the field gets bigger and the programs get funded. Every level is in front of the whole tournament plus a thousand campers all weekend.
The easiest place to start is $135 — cover one seat. Somebody who couldn't afford Thursday gets to play it. You get to watch them do it.
Presenting sponsor
Naming rights, two foursomes, premium recognition, and your brand on event materials all weekend.
Gold sponsor
Prominent placement across the tournament, on-course presence, and recognition at the awards dinner.
Silver sponsor
Course signage, program recognition, and inclusion in tournament promotion.
Sponsor a player
Cover a seat for a veteran or a community member who can't cover it themselves. One of the easiest ways to give.
Not even a little. It's an 18-hole scramble, which means your team plays the best shot of the four of you — so your worst swing quietly disappears and somebody else carries the hole. If you've never held a club in your life, you'll still finish the round and you'll still have a great day. Beginners are the majority out here, not the exception.
Yes — bring your own set. If you don't own one, this is what your foursome is for. Somebody in your crew has a spare bag in the garage, we promise. You can also call the resort pro shop about rentals once you're registered.
Absolutely, and honestly some of our favorite people do exactly that. The $65 spectator pass puts you in the cart with your crew, plus lunch and dinner. All the day, none of the swing. No shame in it.
Right now one person checks out for the whole team, which we know is a lot to front. Easiest workaround: everybody registers separately at $135 and puts the same team name in, and we'll keep you together. Or book a quick call and we'll sort it out with you — that's what the phone is there for.
Nope, it's its own thing — separate registration, through Melanated Cares Foundation, our 501(c)(3). You can play the tournament and skip Campout, or come to Campout and skip the tournament. Most folks do both, because why wouldn't you.
85 players, which works out to 21 foursomes. That's a course limit, not a marketing line — there are only so many carts on that property. When it's full, it's full, and we'd rather you not find that out in September.
Straight into Melanated Cares Foundation programs — youth STEM camps, Camp EmpowerHER and EmpowerHIM, college scholarships, veteran outdoor retreats, and the drives we run all year long. Your bad round funds somebody's good year.
Lake Blackshear Resort Golf Course, 2459 US-280, Cordele, GA — same lake as the campground, about ten minutes from where you'll be setting up your tent on Friday.
You're gonna be more than alright. Register by yourself and we'll put you on a team — and by the back nine you'll have three new numbers in your phone and an inside joke you can't explain to anybody. That happens every single year.
