Melanated Campout is in its 8th year. This September, we're coming home to Lake Blackshear in Cordele for Homecoming 2026 — once every four years, we all come back. This is that year.

Q Do I have to stay overnight to get a day pass?
Nope. The Weekend Day Pass is built for people who want the full experience without camping overnight. You come, you enjoy everything on the schedule, then you drive home or back to your hotel. No tent, no RV, no problem.
Q How far is Cordele from my city?
If you're in Albany you're about 45 minutes away. Warner Robins is around 55 minutes. Macon is about 70 minutes. Fort Valley is roughly 50 minutes. This was built for South Georgia — you're closer than you've been telling yourself.
Q What days and times does the day pass cover?
The Weekend Day Pass covers full access Saturday all day and evening, plus Sunday access. You get the full activity schedule both days. Exact check-in times are emailed after registration.
Q Can I add the meal plan to my day pass?
Yes — and we recommend it. The meal plan is $180 per person and covers 6 meals from Friday lunch through Sunday breakfast. Select it at checkout or add it through your RegFox registrant account before September 15.
Q Is this really adults only?
Yes. Melanated Campout Homecoming 2026 is 21+. This is a grown folks weekend — come as you are, leave your responsibilities at the entrance, and just exhale.
Q Can I come by myself?
Absolutely. A lot of our cousins pull up solo and leave with a whole new crew. You won't be the only one coming alone, and you won't feel weird for doing it. The way this weekend is structured, connection happens naturally.
Q When do prices go up?
Tier 2 pricing ends June 1. The price goes up again August 15, and again at the door. What you see right now is the best price available between now and September. Don't wait on it.
Q Are refunds available?
All tickets are non-refundable. Transfers are available for a $35 fee — log into your RegFox registrant account to manage your reservation. We recommend adding purchase protection at checkout for added peace of mind.
